The aim of the Exhibition is to celebrate the life and work of Fimber-born John Robert Mortimer. From humble beginnings he developed an interest in the archaeology of his native landscape and rose to become one of the foremost experts in his field.

The John Robert Mortimer Exhibition is made up of six 'posters' which may be seen in St Mary's Church in Fimber.

They are displayed on this website for those who are unable to visit the Exhibition in person.
